How long does whitening take?
Most patients wear their trays nightly for around two weeks, depending on the starting shade.
Will it damage my enamel?
Professional whitening used as directed does not damage enamel. Poorly fitted salon or DIY treatments can harm gums.
Will my crowns and veneers whiten?
No. Existing restorations keep their shade, which is why we plan whitening before cosmetic work.
Does it cause sensitivity?
Some mild sensitivity is common and usually temporary. We can adjust gel strength or wear time to manage it.
How long do results last?
Typically one to three years, depending on diet and habits. Top-up gel keeps your result fresh.
Can anyone have whitening?
You need healthy teeth and gums first, and whitening isn't suitable during pregnancy or under 18 for cosmetic reasons.
