Accessibility statement

How we've built this site to be usable for everyone, the standard we work to, and what to do if something doesn't work for you.

Last reviewed 2026-09-23 · Cadbury Dental Practice, 29 Sycamore Road, Bournville, Birmingham B30 2AA

We want everyone to be able to read about their treatment options and get in touch, whatever device or assistive technology they use.

What we do

  • We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines 2.2 at Level AA as our working standard.
  • Pages use semantic headings and landmarks so screen readers can navigate them.
  • Images carry descriptive alternative text; decorative images are hidden from assistive technology.
  • Interactive elements are reachable and operable by keyboard, with visible focus.
  • Videos are muted by default and never autoplay with sound.
  • Body text is set at a comfortable size with strong contrast against its background, and the layout reflows down to small screens without horizontal scrolling.

Known limitations

  • The embedded Google map is a third-party component and we cannot control its accessibility; a text address, phone number and directions link are always provided alongside it.
  • Some cinematic sections use scroll-linked motion. These respect your operating system's reduced-motion setting where it is enabled.

Accessibility at the practice

If you need step-free access, extra appointment time, a quiet arrival, a translated explanation or a chaperone, tell us when you book and we will make arrangements. Please call the practice so we can plan properly rather than improvising on the day.

Tell us about a problem

Email reception@cadburydental.co.uk or call 0121 348 8800 with the page and the difficulty you had. We will reply within five working days and tell you how and when we will fix it.
